Description
COMPATABLE WITH ALL MODS.

Conquest penalties have been improved to add a little more common sense. Also you can now loot without taking slaves if that is the policy you choose.

This isn't the age of freedom of speech, this isn't the age of peaceful demonstrations. This is the age of troops crushing rebellious populaces, peace through the elimination of trouble makers.

If you agree then this will suit you.

Conquest method / Provincial Instability / Public order penalty (Next turn only)
New:
Occupy / -10 / -10
Occupy / -5 / -10 (Same culture)
Loot / -20 /-25
Sack / -10 / -15
Raze / -5 / -25
Liberate / 0 / +25

Vanilla:
Occupy / -10 / -25
Occupy / -8 / -25 (Same culture)
Loot / -20 / -50
Sack / -15 / -25
Raze / -5 / -50
Liberate / 0 / +5

Why?
## Occupy: You have peacefully occupied, sparing civilians but warning them of the punishment of rebellion.
## Loot: You have abducted or killed a large degree of the population, they are angry; but there aren't as many as there were.
## Sack: Now you have the choice to loot without taking slaves. Sack, then Occupy straight after. This balances to give the same penalty of Loot, giving you more control over how you reign.
## Raze: What population? What's left is too terrified to resist
## Liberate: I think people would be more than +5 happy if they were granted their independence.

All my mods are made to ensure they can never cause a crash :/ does the game crash with no mods? If not then are you Continueing a campaign or loading the game straight to the menu?

This seems to be causing a crash with the latest patch (it's the only mod I have checked off as being installed). Any way to update it as I really like the ideas.

Yeah -10 is correct, -25 is vanilla.

On hard, the provincial instability supposed to be 10 for same culture? I'm trying to determine wether or not this mod is taking effect with the unofficial mod manager (and I don't normally play on hard). With the official one, my game crashes on startup with and without other mods.

You put this mod on top? Should work fine as there are no conflicting tables.

Cobi have you read the post I made under yours?

This mod is cancelling out all my other mods. I was looking forward to using this.

If you are having problems with conflicting mods try using the unofficial Mod Manager and prioritize this mod at the top.
