Rottweiler class ironclad

Note: As seen in team three of the Imperial Aeronautic War Museum's Double Destroyer Doomsday Competition! The face of the future had already arrived by the time the Dohlaran Western Squadron was destroyed over Shipworm Shoals in the form of the Rottweiler class ironclads. Designed as a way of dealing with modernized coastal fortifications, these ships were ungainly, slow, heavily armored(for the time), and utterly deadly. Though they mounted a few 30lb smoothbores on their broadsides, the real teeth of any Rottweiler was the pair of immense 10-inch breechloading rifles in the bow. Many a Desnairian or Harchongese gun-crew's last sight was of their shot bouncing harmlessly off the sloping casemate of a Rottweiler, before the enormous muzzles pointed at them belched flame, smoke, and death.
After the destruction of many of the coastal fortifications, these vessels saw good service over Siddarmark, providing close support to forces of the Charisian Expeditionary Force and the Republic of Siddarmark Army in the aftermath of the Sword of Schueler.
