The Tall Grass

Description
The Tall Grass is a joke deck developed by Matthew Bishop (tosx) and others. Any resemblance to existing intellectual property with monsters that you capture in red and white balls is purely coincidental.
This mod includes one environment deck, with complete art and music.

Ironically, it ended up helping me in the end. Between Unity and Idealist, I had a lot of "put into play" effects, and once I captured Floating Star, it did quite a bit of chip damage to the villain and environment targets.

I discovered a rules error with Floating Star. The Star does damage "whenever a hero card is played". Unity's Construction Pylon lets you "put up to 2 mechanical golems from hand into play". Per the rules, "put a card into play" does not count as *playing* it, but the Star still triggered when I used the Pylon (once when I played the Pylon, and twice more when I used the power on it).

The easiest way would be to alter the volume of the source file with Audacity's Amplify feature. You'd open the file in Audacity, pick Amplify from the Effect menu, and select a level somewhere from 70-85% of the current value. That ought to bring it in line with the other music in the game.

Honestly, I have no idea how to adjust the music volume on the back end. The best I can recommend is to lower the music volume in the settings, and/or raise the sound effects volume.

Not crashing anymore. The music volume is still a bit loud, and drowns out the rest of the sound. Not a huge deal, though. Good mod.

Thanks for all the info! Based on that and how I managed to replicate it just now, I think the issue is with Ground Pound interacting with Dream Eater somehow. Possibly other Tall Grass cards as well. I'm not sure at first glance what the issue is, but I'll look into it.

The environment has Desert Hunter; Parasitic Mushroom; Into the Tall Grass; Crested Roc (1 HP); Dream Eater (2 HP); and Floating Star (3 HP). Absolute Zero has the Capture Orb and the Strange Potion.

Ambuscade (26 HP) has no cards out.

Ra (6 HP) has Blazing Tornado and Flesh of the Sun God.

Haka (7 HP) has Taiaha, Ta Moko, Dominion, Mere, and Ground Pound.

Absolute Zero (2 HP) has Focused Apertures, Cryo Chamber, Thermal Shockwave, Isothermic Transducer, and Collant Blast. As mentioned, he also has the Capture Orb and Strange Potion, but no captured monsters (because they died).
