The Dead Drop

Description
Alyx meets with a resistance informant who has information regarding infiltrating a nearby Combine stronghold believed to be housing a weapon of potentially great power.


This is the first map I've ever made, crafted over the course of months. It's got just a few rough edges, but hopefully, less than you might expect :). The map was created with challenging combat as a focus. Anticipate 30+ minutes of gameplay.

P.S: If you get stuck after the toner puzzle after the train station fight, remember that shooting things is often a good solution to many problems.

not sure exactly how far in i am but i love this map to death. i always liked the combin fights in alyx but they were always so easy and there was never any major challenge. this map has rectified that because HOLY this is hard compared to regular Alyx. that being said, hella fun, map design is great too

I really enjoyed this rendition, it was a lot of fun to play. I have a lot of hours on this game and I found this to be a well thought out, creative venture. Thanks for all your time and effort, hope to view other works of yours assuming there is more to see. Keep up the great work...

Level design was quite impressive (levels looked natural), combat encounters were fair with the amount of enemies and cover available. All around quite pleasant experience playing through this map. Very surprisingly good production for a "first map", better than many other maps. Great work, and thank you!

Great map! One I enjoyed the most! The rooms are varied, the combats are well paced, and the part in the parking lot is awesome... especially the barrel that gave me that "holy shit! it worked!" moment. Thanks for your work!
