Description
Updated: RE 1.9.2

Name: Pathfinder
Class: Scout
Role: System Sector Explorer and Mission Runner
Universe: Reforged - Eden
Mass/Volume: Verified / Capable - multiple game versions, best played without though.
Range of use: Level 20 at least until Progenitor.


Short:
A comfortable scout and/or mission runner which can carry up to 7 people and provides 10 cargo boxes of varied size.


Full:
While capable of Mass/Volume gameplay, as it was initialy designed for that, it is now ment to be played without that setting - as you will get a lot more convenience and usability out of it that way.

It still can lift of several tons from a high gravity planet, dont you worry, but for the gameplay, its more enjoyable without mass/volume.

While 'Vanilla' RE does not support travel across Systems for early levels (20), once you've progressed in the game and increased CPU performance via Quantums or Auxillery cores, you might want to install an Anti-Matter warp drive as well, to travel across the stars - after increasing the shields and weaponary a bit more.

With the maneuverability and agility this ship offers, you can modify this from a heavy hauler (less RP, as you'll place boxes 'everywhere') to a full fledged merc ship. However, there are limitations on expanding the useability whithin a mass/volume gameplay, but close to limitless without it.

* This is great for farming Magmacite and similar things, as you do not have to leave the comfort of your ships atmosphere, and still are able to harvest those resources with your done.
* Stand on the elevated marked spot
* Look at the x on the lower floor while in 1st person
* Launch your drone with F5

Usage: Sorting:
Please do NOT use auto-sorting, but DO sort MANUALY.

Updated:
* Removed ~45 Small Jets (preserved/re-added about 18 total)
* Added: 6 Medium Jets
* Added-Signal: LandingLights - Enable all but rear spotlighs (the rear one annoyed me upon "L")
* Added: 2 Guided Missile Launchers
* Ship is now within 100% CPU usage

Did some testing, could reduce the amount of Jet S from 62 down to 16.
At the cost of some side thrust, but only loosing a tiny bit of yaw, while improving roll, pitch stayed the same as thrust up (to lower the ship on planets) was slightly increased as well.
All that saving up 6k CPU.

Now trying to adapt that to the ship, slight adjustments on the exterior will have to hapen though.

Dont worry Lazarus327, you will get there eventualy, just download, play and inspect ships/structures that you like.

Wow - Thanks for all the time you put into the answer. Working in the large thrusters can be pretty damn hard. I have made a few ships that I can cram into a 14X7, but nothing nearly as pretty as this. Really wish I was better at exterior shaping!

oh.. and.. just figured... I've had like 4 different reworks in the pipe, and I've picked the one with the most JetS remaining - but NOT for that reason...

Basicly, they're much easier to integrate.
Say, if I would replace them with medium jet thrusters for up/down and left/right, I woud have no space for anything "interior life" as it is now.
Well, maybe I could preserve the hallway, but no "rooms" as they are now, not unless I'd make the whole ship larger, which then would no longer fit into a 14x7 hangar door - which was kind of a "main objective" for me for this ship. Beeing able to "take it with me" when traveling around the stars.

Last but not least, the original version of the ship was started in A11 - finished mid 2020, during A12 where JetS had been nerfed. I still had decided to release it, since it was 'still usable' - while starting the first rework for RE.Which again face me with the previously stated issues.

While one could reuse the Drone Hatch for up/down thrusters of medium size, I think they're usage/usablity is too worthwhile to do so.
And of course one could place some medium thrusters into the engine room, while breaking the hull design as those places. Or ditch the 'dining room' and 'wet rooms' for more side-thrust, but i'd miss that RP aspect - and I'm kind of proud of those 2 rooms, so I really would miss those.

Hi - newer builder here. What made you decide to go with so many small jet thrusters, rather then a smaller number of larger thrusters?

Ok I just reviewed the sensor logic at the rear (well, main) entry...
It is exactly how I inteded.

Point of case:
Both "ramps" (door and floor) have to be on sensor only - so if Medic/O2 is public, you dont have to set doors on public as well.

However, because we're all a bunch of lazy people, and since I did look into...
I've change the actual door to the sensor as well, so no more manual closing. :)

I play reforged eden primarily, and she works well for my purposes in that game mode. CPU on, mass/volume on, no block limits is how the server I'm on works.
