I made this mod to have cities be farther apart, and it is ideally meant to be used with the Faster Border Growth and Extended City Radius mods (which i did not make).
This is a subtle mod, but you will notice it when you go to place a city, that by default they must now be farther away.
The beauty of this mod is in it's relative simplicity, as well as its flexibility.
For instance, you could have cities be CLOSER instead of FARTHER by editing one little number in the code.
"This simple mod extends the minimum city distance from 3 to 4, by changing the default value of MIN_CITY_RANGE global define."
The reason I made this mod is because I wanted to amplify the effects of the other mods I listed and they seem to really shine when they aren't cramped by those expansionist AI.
it may indeed be working
i do not mean to be testy
it is a mod that has, as it were, subtle effects
when I take the time to glance at it I cannot immediately tell that it is telling me ANYTHING useful, hence my hesitant attitude towards it.
Do I make any sense?
If a mod such as this is to be useful and downloadable, we need to be able to see immediately for ourselves that it is adding something to the game
If it is not obvious or obviously evident that it is adding to our play then it is not--even if the design and intent is sincere.
@inahut Did you install through Steam, or the direct download?
