Description
Task Force Spartan : Remnants

This is an infantry focused scenario centred around the Aegis and Theseus mods where you take control of a TFS (Task Force Spartan, formerly known as the CTRG) operative whose mission was to oversee the draw-down of NATO forces in Altis when a group known as the 'Remnants' launch multiple attacks across Altis. Targeting NAAF (New Altis Armed Forces) installations, crippling Altis.

This scenario includes:
  • 20-30 minutes of playtime,
  • Infantry focused gameplay,
  • Decent performance (but again it is Arma, so this may vary),
  • No walking 5kms to get to an objective,
  • Hopefully what you will find an enjoyable experience.

Requirements:
The player uses certain clothing from Apex buuuttt I think you can still play it, if someone can tell me that would be great. Also I'd recommend a view distance of atleast 2500, if you cannot push to this, that is fine, it is not integral. you will just miss certain events in the distance.

You'll need the Arma 3 Aegis and Theseus mods, which you can find here and here (they are really cool, I highly recommend them anyways).
That is it! Now you can play but.. there are some mods that can make your experience even better.
I'd highly recommend the following (remember these are RECOMMENDED not REQUIRED :

Changelog:

v1.2:
  • Added extra armaments to Striker 1 to counter them possibly missing/not engaging the target.
  • More hostiles during the 2nd phase of the mission.
  • Mortar has been tweaked to hopefully be a bit more forgiving (but that thing is more luck based, so if you're already having a bad day.. the mortar will probably make it worse).

v1.1:
  • Provided more cover in a more natural way for the last part of the mission.
  • Typos corrected throughout the mission.
  • Fixed image instead of icon at ending screen.

If you played the map, please give it a rating whether its negative or positive, doesn't matter, I just want feedback so if you didn't like it, tell me why. If you liked it, tell me your favourite part!

I'd like to thank,
ThomaHawk for the tips and tricks here and there, and for their awesome missions (seriously go check them out, they are really cool).
Feurex for the countless tutorials.
Jeza aswell for uploading a play-through of the map, which can be found here!
And finally.. you lot for being a helpful and lovely community, but also to those who have played my mission and the ones possibly going to play it, thank you.

Please give me feedback, I won't know what to change/fix if I do not receive feedback.

P.s
There is a lot of dialogue, none of it is voice acted yet, I honestly don't know if I will, if enough people want it, I will but I will leave it as is for now.

Thank you and I am glad you enjoyed it. For the cinematic borders, i used BIS_fnc_cinemaBorder. If you look it up, you can find a more in-depth explanation. The code is = [0, 1, true, true ] call BIS_fnc_cinemaBorder; The first number dictates whether the border will come in. 0 for the borders to come in, 1 for the borders to fade out. I believe the second value is the duration of the border fading in/out. Cannot remember what the true values stand for. Hope this helps.

Hey man, how did you do the cinematic camera stuff when the player is in the helo? where the screen narrows a bit? I really enjoyed the mission, though, it was real awesome!

Wow thank you guys! @Hawkins [PTF] This is not, I never knew about them but I am intrigued. Task Force Spartan is just the new name of the CTRG for these scenarios which the reason for will be revealed in an upcoming mission hopefully.
