SFO Medusa buff

Description
I've made this tiny mod for myself, but i think its a good idea to share it. Who knows, maybe your thoughts about this beauty are pretty close to mine and you'll enjoy it too.
I don't really like DE roster, but medusa looks gorgeous. Unfortunately her battle role is arguable. She is a weak skirmisher, cos she is bad at aiming and lacks speed for disengage. And she is a weak melee combatant, cos she is very fragile, her defense is low and reckless combat animations often leave her surrounded deep in the enemy lines. No doubt she hits hard but needs too much control to become worth. So most of the time she is just a dead weight that drags you down.
Since there are loads of OP stuff, i think its unfair!

Changes from SFO
  • Run speed up 65 >>> 80
  • Melee stats atk/def 50/30 >>> 35/55 (she is a giant snek grill, hitting her supposed to be hard)
  • Poison is changed to toxic venom (15dmg to max 3 entities)
  • Weapon damage 100+300ap >>> 180+220ap (since venom does a lot of dmg)
  • Accuracy up (her weapon is a GAZE, how can she be so cross-eyed?!)
  • Ammo up 20 >>> 22
  • Ranged damage up 25+75ap >>> 30+80ap
  • Added fatigue reduction and strider attribute
  • ROR unit gets magic attacks and slightly better bonus vs infantry
  • Upkeep for regular one 448 >>> 550
  • Upkeep for ROR 576 >>> 700
It makes her more suitable for skirmishing and lets her shine as a support in sustained combat, so i hope her price looks fair. I believe she will be a good addition to your playthrough as a true waifu material should x)

NOTE this mod is for Steel Faith Overhaul by Venris and im not sure if it would be good for vanilla balance.

Hey just wanted to pop in and say great mod. I'm a long time Dark Elves SFO player but could never use Medusa because they were too squishy. This mod fixed that and while they're still a niche unit I've started to thrown them in a few armies. Keep up the good work

@UnRaCkS FisTs Nah, if you want to play vanilla, you can use this one. I changed just one string, should work now. Havent tested tho.

@UnRaCkS FisTs I guess it doesnt work properly without main mod. I can make a version for vanilla only, but as i said it doesnt fit vanilla balance, so i highly recommend you to try out SFO. There are many new units and mechanics, elites are much more believable and capacity restrictions surely make sense. There is a tab called required items, "SFO: Grimhammer II" is what you need.

I dont have the SFO mod, i only have yours, but i cant recruit them. I have the buildings that should allow me to recruit them, both on a black ark, and one in Albion.

@UnRaCkS FisTs You need sorcery buildings, tier 4 gives you +1 capacity and tier 5 gives 3. The one from Black Ark also works. Its SFO mechanic, this mod doesnt affect it.

Yeah so it says you need a building to increase the capacity of medusas you can have, but i dont see a building like that anywhere. Any help?

I will be sure to try this out once I get the Bloodwrack Medusa DLC, because it seems to be quite a nice idea to buff a not very good monster.
