Ohyo - Character & +15 New Items [AB+]

Use your Blood Gauge to store red hearts and use them as charges, as well as becoming a sharpshooter to land critical hits on enemies. Use over 15 brand new items to help you traverse the basement!


- A brand new and unique character with several exclusive powers, like a blood gauge that can charge your active items.
- 9 new passive items.
- 2 new active items.
- 5 new familiars.

Ohyo has several new unique mechanics, all equally important when trying to master her playstyle.

Magical Resistance 0:
This ablity allows Ohyo to collect red hearts and store them in her Blood Gauge, allowing her to use her Dark Magic, and use them as charges for other items.

This ability however comes with a drawback, harnessing the power of this ability renders Ohyo weaker, meaning she gets dealt double damage and has a lower damage output than most characters.

Dark Magic:
This item is a conduit for Ohyo to perform her Dark Magic, however the conduit is weak and can only be strengthened by gathering HP ups.

Starting as a recoiling stat buff with no upgrades, this item can grow quite powerful the more HP ups you get, however the item can also only be used with your Blood Gauge, as it has no use power electrical power.

Triple Twenty:
To compensate for her low damage, Ohyo makes up in sharpshooting skills. This item allows her to shoot burst of three tears instead of just one at a time, with the third tear dealing a critical blow if the first two connected.

Hyperfixate:
Given Ohyo's personality and tendencies, it's no surprise she starts wth this special trait. It allows Ohyo to ocassionally hyperfixate on a single enemy, dealing 33% extra damage to them, at the cost of dealing 33% less damage to the rest of the room.

Statistics:
To compensate for her strong traits, Ohyo's stats are rather mediocre, however don't get fooled by the low fire delay and damage, as she can pack a higher punch than most characters once you perfect your accuracy.

Health = 2 black hearts and 1 soul heart.
Speed = 1.0
Range = 26.0
Fire Delay = 18 (1.8x multiplier)
Shotspeed = 1.0
Damage = 1.8 (0.51x multiplier)
Luck = -2.0

- Requires Mod Compatibility Hack. (No, MCH does not contribute to lag in this or any other mod).

- In order for this mod to work, I had to reimplement the item charge HUD element, so there is a chance that mods who also reimplemented the bar for other purposes might glitch out visually.
- Given this mod has to reload vanilla assets, it is required for you to restart the game once you enable this mod.
