Well thats can happen If Paradox changed smth in special projects in new versions, dont really know cuz i dont play that much these days. In the past that concept of special project progression worked pretty hard but i will find smth to do
Actually i had the draft code version of the search of primarchs like the Emperor did in the lore, so thats a good idea
I believe last this was brought up, the idea was to turn it into a special project that progresses. Which I think would work best. Just a small event chain tied to a special project that progresses and has your leader replaced, Malcador show up, and perhaps a few tied to the primarchs.
Perhaps at the beginning of the event chain The Emperor and Malcador show up and you get an option to make Big E your leader and Malcador becomes an Official? And as the special project progresses you can "find" (spawn in special systems) that are themed around said primarch's home planet?
Regardless of what you decide to do, I'm sure people would love an event chain around the Emperor, Malcador, and the Primarchs.
