Hotel Avion

Description
Directly inspired by Hotel Avion in Brno, one of the narrowest hotels in Europe.
Built by famous Czech functionalist architect Bohuslav Fuсhs in 1926. The hotel is only 8 meters wide (26.25 feet).
Even though the hotel is the second most notorious functionalist building in Brno, it was in a very bad shape in recent years. Luckilly, now it's being reinfurbished.

Serves as a hotel, employs 20 workers and can accomodate up to 110 guests. The collisions are switched off, so you can place it easilly into your historical town and such.
Keep in mind that the road connection is in the rear of the building, not the front.

To be honest, I'm not much of a friend with the materials, that's why I usually use already existing ones. Before I try the Fiend's settings, is it now better?

These settings should work:

Now the building should be less bright.

Hello to fix overblown lighting you should adjust $AMBIENTCOLOR in the MTL file generated by modelviewer. Try 0.5-0.7 for white stuff.

There's still a little more space to adjust the "luminosity". I'll set it completely to 0. We'll see what happens. I'll let you know when it's done.

also, it only looks like the front (entrance) texture is overblown / overexposed as it's fully white, sides of the hotel look fine in terms of texture shade

looks awesome but I think the walls texture is a tad too white/overblown, it looks out of place compared to most other buildings, would it be possible to adjust the brightness of the texture a tad?
