Salt Cured Meat [Discontinued]

Description
Please use Salted Meat it is better in every way.

If you have Vanilla Cooking Expanded, use Salted Meat instead.

Like Argón's Salted Meat but not dependent on Vanilla Cooking Expanded.

After completing neolithic research Salt Curing Methods your colonists can greatly increase spoil time of meat or fish by mixing it with salt.

Meat can be cured with salt at butcher table.

Fish from Vanilla Fishing Expanded can be conservated at stove/campfire.

Salt can be mined, deep drilled or bought from caravan/orbital traders.

Compatible with Evaporation Pond. Ignore required Vanilla Cooking Expanded.

I don't know if this got fixed or not but a single piece of salt used to count as 1 nutrition which meant it was even more nutritious than a meal and was a weird feature.

@Viper, exactly.

this is now entirely obsolete due to Argon's Salted Meat 2.0

Is it possible to add compatibility for rainbeau's fishing mod too? VFE's fishes has different nutrition values which does not go well with some other mods, while that mod makes you chop fish into pieces, with same nutrient value of any meat.

Thank you! the cooking expanded is cool but I think the amount of effort to make it work is too much for little to no bonus. This is just perfect for my medieval run

Thanks, the cooking expansion offered way more than what I need to feed my hungry peasants.

Thanks for this, I really love the vanilla expanded stuff but their cooking was a bit bland for me. Much appreciated!

Not everyone wants to use Vanilla Expanded Cooking. So this can fulfill a need for those doing Tribal/Medieval only games.
