Warning

SR_Dinant_01 and SR_Dinant_02 are currently not working (4th January) due to game related issues. Please await for devs to resolve the issue before playing them, or else your game will crash.

About

Unofficial Skirmish game mode overhaul. The mod adds numerous QOL improvements to the game mode, better balance and results in more intense and fun plays. Currently consists of 17 layers, more could be added in the future if there's interest for it. Ideas/suggestions/bug reports can be sent to Dino#8476 on Discord.

Game mode changes:
  • Added 17 new layers with various size and environment
  • Rebalanced tickets
  • Lowered time needed to capture
  • Improved spawn protection and added match preparation
  • Working rally points and squad leader radial menu (map marking)
  • Added ticket gain on capture and ticket loss on losing the objective
  • Added ticket bleed on domination
  • 30 minutes duration on all layers
  • Lowered time for switching teams and penalties for teamkill/suicide
  • Infantry only - other sections cannot be created
  • Default kit restrictions
  • Many more QOL improvements to the game mode

Hey! I'm always open to suggestions about improving this mod. If you wish to set it up on a server for regular use, you can always message me on Discord (or via Steam) and I'll do my best to accomodate your requests & ideas.

Nice maps but not usable for seeding due to the ticketbleed. Too bad.

Hey equinox1911. My "magic shrinking powers" are not updating the mod for past 2 months. First increase in size happened after SDK update mid-March, and 2nd after Linux compatibility started working (that is, if you choose to enable it). My Training mod increased from 100MB to 400MB after 1st, then to almost 900MB after 2nd. I haven't updated nor cooked the Skirmish mod for a long time, so the size remained unspoiled. I do plan for an update soon enough, and sadly it should be around 500-600MB after it.

Hi Dino, great work on the mod.
I would really appreciate if you could explain how you made the mod only take ~45 mb.
Because everytime i try to make a mod it is at least 200mb even if i only change one value.
What are your magical shrinking powers ;)
