Grand Naval Dockyard



This is a merged mod from my Shipset Collection with handpicked mods packed together in a single mod-file. This is still a private project (permission for official release requested), to save loading time and efforts, which I like to share to you for your convenience.

Included are different Shipsets, I found to be compatible and nice for the current version. Additionally I've added the Change Shipset mod, to allow later changes to your ships view. This doesn't catch up with all modded shipsets, plus you have to know which ones are included, otherwise you'll simply get the next availible one.

Be sure to know, this is a simple merged-mod, so do not ask me for NSC or other compatibility.
However, if someone is able to help me implementing it the easy way, feel free to contact me.

When building this modpack, I had BaBoFantasy's Balanced Space Warfare in mind, which I do rate quite interesting with it's changed weights towards missiles and overall to be more compatible to any other mod.
In particular, I had the choice to bloat up my own multiplayer modpacks or to strip them off and place the very huge shipsets into this one. Therefore the player is now able to choose to play with or without extra shipsets.

This is a standalone mod, which is aiming to combine with other (yet planned) GPS mods about a specific topic to create a quite unique gaming playset for your Stellaris game.

Compatibility

Should be compatbile with everything, except any other mod is changing shipsets too.

- Not Ironman ready
- Not Achievement compatible
- Multiplayer ready

- simple German localisation with copy/paste English expressions is in place
- simple Russian localisation with copy/paste English expressions is in place
- simple Chinese localisation with copy/paste English expressions is in place


Load Order


Follow the above Load Order Guide to know on which position to best place it in your playset.
If you like to combine this one with other mods, keep in mind to install compatibility patches if needed.

I hope this gets updated, because I try it now and for some reason the Plantoid DLC is not working. Game keeps telling me "Purchase DLC" I already have it.

The Multiplay Version is added before any new update was released. I'm watching a few other (+white) shipset mods to finish or release standalone too, as I better like bright shipsets too. I'll keep it in mind. Targeted date for updating this one would be with next major PDX update. But, if you add the same UFS in your mod-load-order right after this one, it shouldn't cause any issue until then.

The Unite Fleet Shipset added a new white shipset that isn't in the mod yet. Can we add that? it is beautiful.

Well...in fact that's exactly my motivation to create it..also to use it myself. To save time and lower the number of mods to earn space for other's to load. With ~ 120 - 150 mods, the launcher gets a bit unsolid.

Besides that, I have a modular load order in mind, to combine this merged mod with other merged mods to avoid incompatibilities and faster loading times.

Similar results did I get, but all are simple typing errors reported from merging tool. It simply can't read over two lines and do not recognise spaces. It should not cause any trouble.

If you really like, you can post your notice at the regarding source mods, so they can take care of.

Hi,

just wanted to inform you that, while checking the error log for something totally different, I noticed some typing errors.

1. Message "Expected colon(:) at line 11 and column 15 in localisation/english/trek_sections_l_english.yml"
-> seems like a copy&paste error, line 11 contains only
css_federation
and nothing more. The error occurs in all trek_sections... language files


2. Message "Expected quotation mark (") at line 131 and column 43 in localisation/mzilli_graphical_culture_l_english.yml"
-> you forgot a double apostrophe in the line, before the word Creatures
mzilli_graphical_culture.7.guardians_01:0 Creatures of the Void Ships (CaptainX3)"


There are some more errors regarding missing .anim files but I have to do something else now so can't check it out.
