Game Startup Time Impact : None



Create groups - simply select some pawns, click the create group button - That's all.
There are a multitude of management tools for you to utilize. From customization to work orders to battle formations, just start reading tooltips - and enjoy the ride.

You can also play without the group mechanic
Simply hide the groups if you prefer to only use our Pawn Display features below.
Groups have zero performance hit when hidden.


Colony Groups includes many pawn display features you can toggle on/off and adjust accordingly.

-Pawn Portrait sizing (including the pawn box)
-Colonist Bar positioning X and Y axis

Really like this mod now I'm getting used to it but I've got to know, is there an easier way to manually sort pawn order in groups that I'm missing? Having to right click, then click the little arrow, then right click, then click the little arrow, then.... this can't be the easiest way right?

Caravans can't return home while I'm using this mod. Reinstalling it fixes this but then I have to make my groups all over again and it's hella frustrating.

Love this mod, however I have always had odd behaviour with it whenever some pawns of a group are off-map. I like to put my colonists into subgroups based on their primary role: builder, farmer, etc, as well as main groups for soldiers, sometimes split into squads that work well together.

Problems arise when some of the pawns of a group are off-map and I try to interact with a group. Double-clicking doesn't select all the pawns on the current map, it gets confused and selects roughly half.

Sub-groups are also buggy, you can only view the colonists in them by right-clicking, but this opens the dropdown menu, covering a third of the group members and making it hard to select them. It also loves to select the thing BEHIND what the cursor is pointing at, be it another colony group or an object in-game.

I'm not sure if these issues are from conflicts in my list, but they've been around in the mod for as long as I can remember, which is at least a few years.

Checking back after months. Missing ghoul still an issue? Anyone test if it's a mod conflict thing playing just Vanilla with this mod?

Is there no way to hide Specializations/Inspirations on the colonist bar? I wanna use this mod but it really bugs me how big they are and covering the colonists.

Slightly disingenuous to say this has been patched for 1.5 when ghouls don't show up on the colony bar. Other than that this is an amazing QoL mod.

:( This is making all my pawns with names over 5 characters into 2 characters followed by .... on the colonist bar. Exampe: Watson turns into Wa... Remove the mod and it goes back to vanilla behavior of names over 10 characters having the ... Tried changing all of the mod settings but no luck. Anyone have a fix?
