Description
Fictional route around two towns - Solaris and Rochdale with one urban and two suburban branches and several industrial facilities. Can be used as introductory route as it uses many concepts and a lot of rolling stock. Many landmarks allow for easy route learning and hudless driving, although there are some tricky places with gradients to remember. For detailed description in pdf format check the route folder. Check out the dependencies on the right side. If you find any missing please let me know.

The custom timetable uses concepts listed below and the dependencies listed on the right side of the screen. It was made a long time ago before some physics overhauls therefore it's pretty tight and uses only few custom trains available at that time. If you want to try another great timetable, a little more slow paced and with many nice custom trains, please check out and subscribe to this timetable made by Railfan_tourist in the following link: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2824762659

Custom timetable concepts:

Passenger Services

S1: Solaris Highands to Rochdale Main (every 30 minutes) – 25 minutes to drive.
This is the main suburban line in the southern direction, connecting Solaris city center with a neighbour town of Rochdale. The only one where Class 127 with 4 cars is used. It terminates at the Rochdale Man Terminus section of the station.

S2: Solaris Highlands to
Beverhill Forest (every 60 minutes) – 39 minutes to drive
Blackridgepool (every 60 minutes) - 26 minutes to drive
This is the main suburban line in the northern direction. It goes on average every 30 minutes but branching either to line 212 (Beverhill Forest) or terminating at the town of Blackridgepool on the side tracks. Class 108 with 4 cars is used.

S3: Solaris Central Station to Northbury (every 90 minutes) – 23 minutes to drive.
The main goal of this line to help S1 with direct connection between Solaris and Rochdale it also connects Northbury (route 623) with the metropoly. Class 108 with 3-cars set is used.

S4: Rochdale Main to Beverhill Forest (every 60 minutes) – 41 minutes to drive
This is another service for the Beverhill Forest route (route 212) but this time it brings most passengers to the Solaris Main Station, so they can change into Intercity and regional trains. In 1968 the service was extended even farther up to Rochdale Main station to even better connect these quickly growing metropolises. Class 108 is used with 4 cars setup.

S5: Blackridgepool to:
Solaris Central Station (every 60 minutes) – 19 minutes to drive.
Northbury (every 180 minutes) – 31 minutes to drive
This is the main service for the nearby town of Blackridgepool. When terminating at Solaris it is pulled to the siding in order not to block other traffic. Every third service is extended up to Northbury to boost frequency in this small town a little. 3-cars Class 126 is used with Class 111 4-car setup on the extended route.

West Summit Railways
WSR is a company which runs a service between Rochdale and Northbury in the peak hours. It uses Class 37 with 3 cars. In order to reverse the loco the company uses a siding at Rochdale Industrial. There are 12 services in total run by that single train – 6 in the morning and 6 in the afternoon. The route takes 17 minutes and extra 15 is left for reversing.

Intercity and regio
On average once an hour there is an intercity or regio train passing in either direction. Intercity trains stop only at Solaris Central Station. Regio trains also stop at Blakcridgepool and Rochdale Main. There is also a set of so-called local trains which are regio serviced by Class 126 6-car setup. They additionally stop at Rochdale Riverbank and Greenford station. Travel times in the area vary from 25 to 34 minutes.

Cargo trains
There are some irregular cargo train services both local and intercity. As cargo driving is very difficult and requires knowledge about gradients and distances to the signals it is not adviced to use them early on.

Where to start

It is advised to pick up intercity or regio train first to get the feel of the main route. After that I would suggest to start learning branches by picking S4 for Beverhill Forest branch, S3 for Northbury branch and S1 for Solaris City branch.

This really needs an update with all the new features. Unfortunately I'm so engaged in my own project on Roblox right now I hardly can find any time.

@Delfino ok, i will change the mode for 03.
Delfino  [author] 31 Oct, 2021 @ 1:36pm
Cali, I'm not sure about the simple mode. I suggest you to use the normal mode with the helper which tell you what to press. This loco requires gear switching and on 4th gear it will speed up to around 15-20 mph. This is the top speed and I have no problems achieving it from the start.
