Expanded Settings

Description
This mod allows for additional control over game balance by exposing a number of game values for tweaking per file. It can be used to modify things like the global speed limit, block durability, thruster power, power generation efficiency, and much more.

Loading a file with this mod active creates a Config.xml file inside of the save folder (...\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves\<SteamId>\<SaveGameName>\Storage\2275037102.sbm_ExpandedSettings). You can edit the values in this file to change those values in game after loading back into the save.

This mod can be used for anything from minor tweaks to gameplay/balance (changing oxygen consumption, power generation efficiency, etc.) to the creation of very different gameplay styles and modes (serious nerf to ore yield, nerf to jetpack, etc.). Play around with the settings and see what fits your preference!

This is meant to be an all-purpose rebalancer mod, so feel free to suggest any additional controls that might be good to add in the comments below.

Setup Steps:
1. Subscribe to the mod
2. Add mod to world
3. Load into world once to generate Config.xml, ConfigBlueprint.xml, ConfigVoxel.xml, and PlanetCache files
4. Exit world
5. Make changes to Config.xml, ConfigBlueprint.xml, and ConfigVoxel.xml files at above location
6. Load back into world to see changes

NOTE: Do not edit PlanetCache xml file.

Notes
--All values are normalized to 1 by default, so setting all values back to 1 will change nothing about default gameplay. If there are any issues with any of the values being applied, setting them to -1 will make them not be used (i.e. if there are conflicts with other mods, this allows parts of this mod to be disabled individually).

--If you don't see an option here listed in the file, it's possible it has been added to the mod since the file was created. You can delete the Config.xml file and load into the world to force it to regenerate with all the correct options listed.

--I am currently primarily working on another mod, so it might be a while before I get a chance to take another pass at this one and add in any new suggestions. I will try to respond, though!

does this mod allow for ore detector range? i desperately want something to replace another mod I'm using and this seems to have far more settings

That seem to have done the trick, although the 'your inventory resets to default after respawning' issue is back.

Ahh, I have several modded planets in both my single player and multiplayer worlds that had the error
Dragon Fire 813 20 Sep @ 1:59pm
Note that I did un/resubscribe from the mod, deleted it from the save's storage folder, and deleted the mod itself. The error presisted.
It's most likely a mod conflict brought about by mods updating things for Apex. I tried loading up my multiplayer save that has your mod and worked before the update (save has 97 mods in total), same error. I then added it to a test save that didn't have it before the update and has a quite small mod list. It worked on that one.

Pushed an attempted fix. That error indicates a dictionary key collision, which means something odd is happening in the planet settings. My guess is that there at least one mod planet that has duplicate keys in the ore settings. I added more safety checks just in case.

For context: I took a break from SE just before the Apex update and your mod was working fine on my single player save of 281 mods before said update. I came back to SE today and loaded the same save without changing anything other than disabling radiation (left food needs off) and I now get the error in the previous post.

I'll take a look.
