Description
As some of you may know, CK2's historical bookmark system can sometimes be... lacking, in some areas more than others. As a fan of the history of Poland, a strong, unified kingdom from 1066 all the way to 1336 hurts me, as it could not be further from truth. And with CK3 abandoning the extensive bookmark system whatsoever, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

"Gesta Principum Polonorum" (latin for "Deeds of the Princes of the Poles") is a total revamp of the CK2 bookmarks, focusing entirely on the history of Poland, mapping its kings and the dukes of the Feudal Fragmentation period as precisely as the province system allows. It aims at enhancing the vanilla experience for those planning a campaign in Poland.
The mod includes:

- Complete revamp of the Polish map history, including 10 historical wars and revolts
- 31 new bookmarks, with descriptions and lists of interesting characters
- New coronation decision for Poland and a distinction between historically crowned and uncrowned rulers
- Adjustments in the shapes and sizes of 18 provinces in and around Poland
- Historical rulers with 26 new nicknames, adjusted traits and appearances
- Countless historical and legendary minor characters adding flavour to the game, including all bishops of Krakow
- 8 fictional dynasties based on historical noble houses filling every bland spot on the Polish map
- 83 new events, including 3 narrative event chains for the first 3 major bookmarks and several flavour events
- 81 new wikipedia links
- New given names of the Polish culture
- Fixed countless misspellings or misplacements of dynasty and title names

'Holy Fury' DLC required, 'Old Gods' strongly recommended

Not by me. This was mostly a lockdown-induced project and if I ever start modding again, it probably won't be this game

Will there be expansions for other nations? One I haven't heard much about is the Welsh Uprisings in Britain, most notable being 1294 and then Owain Glyndwr's rising in 1400. Interesting mod anyhow!

The mod changes the requirements for the coronation decision for Poland, and that decision comes with Holy Furry. You can try and play without it, I can't gurantee it will work, definetely not as intended.
