Description
Cave Johnson here. Introducing the Aperture Science Personal Energy Shield. This pocket-sized gizmo projects a sphere of energy around the wearer, shielding them from any wayward projectiles that get too close, including debris, bullets, intercontinental ballistic missiles, and baby vomit. Now just a little safety notice, make sure you steer clear of anyone else wearing an Energy Shield. These things are highly magnetised and if two of them come within a couple of metres, they'll be more attracted to each other than the two young lovebirds I just caught in the act in my supply closet. If you do get magnetised to another Energy Shield wearer, get comfy. You're gonna be stuck together for a while since the magnetic discharge that occurs when the two of you collide is gonna short out the off switch. Don't worry, I've got my tight-knit team of lab boys working together on that problem as we speak. Those guys are inseparable. Cave Johnson, we're done here.

I’m back! After an extended 10-month absence, I’ve returned to the workshop with Shieldbearer, a medium-difficulty momentum puzzle in which a vertical light bridge blocks your flight path.

I’m very proud of Shieldbearer. After trying and failing numerous times over the last few months to design a feasible puzzle, after feeling burnt out and drained of my creative juices for so long, it feels amazing to have returned after my break with a puzzle that I think is fresh and fun and classic. Taking a break from the workshop has allowed me to rejuvenate, take stock of my work, and go back to my roots. In this sense, Shieldbearer feels both old and new at the same time. The traditional elegance of my early classics infused with the polish and innovation you’ve come to expect from my recent efforts. The best of both worlds, I reckon. I hope you enjoy playing Shieldbearer as much as I did making it. Special thanks to Teo and Wii2 for playtesting.

There are two other accomplishments that I’d like to celebrate here. Firstly, thanks to your overwhelming support, I have now surpassed 500 Steam Workshop followers. This is an incredible milestone, and I’m overjoyed to see that people are still being challenged and enthused by playing my puzzles. Thank you all once again, and rest assured that there will be many more test chambers to come in the future. Here's to 500 followers, and to the next 500!

Secondly, I’m happy to announce that I have now officially graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature with Creative Writing. I’d like to thank my friends and family for their support and encouragement during an exceptionally difficult final year. I’m very pleased with my final grade/result, and I’m happy to say that despite the challenges this year presented, the course was overall stimulating and fulfilling. I look forward to putting my degree to good use in the future, and also to having more free time to do the things I enjoy.

Thanks for reading, enjoy the puzzle, and I’ll see you again soon. 💙

And just like that I have completed every map of yours. I started playing in about 2014/2015 before moving onto other games. I would always come back to Portal 2 though for your puzzles. Ten years later and I am still playing Demon maps. They have given me countless hours of joy. I'm sure if I loaded into the first map on your logic puzzles collection, I would be stumped as if it were my first time playing. I can't wait to replay these maps for years to come. THANK YOU!:steamhappy::p2wheatley::p2turret::p2orange::p2cube::p2blue::p2aperture:

Very good puzzle. It took me a week or two to solve it

Blindrun
A nice break from the harder maps I’ve recently played. Incredibly unique concept though. As you’ll see in the video you can weave to the light bridge platform from the grates when you bounce and it’s not even that hard, so there is an exploit here but I challenged myself to do everything as intended. Or, at least, how I feel “intended” would be.

Difficulty: 5/10
Design: 9.5/10
Enjoyed: 7.75/10

Well, I didn't solve it exactly as intended, but still happy I reached the exit. Very nice challenge.

Don't cover the area where the exit door is with blue gel. The game is getting softlocked. Even if you clean it, it doesn't fix, the remaining particles of the blue gel prevent the cube from coming exit spot

I saw @Andy T added it to their favourites, so I looked at the map, saw that I had already given it a  but hadn't left a comment, for some reason. Anyway, really enjoyable map to play, have another  After completing it, I a found an exploit, but I see that others have informed you. I hope you are putting your BA to good use :)

Done, this is a tough one, one wrong move and it takes ages to rollback to make the right move.

Very good use and re-use of a small number of elements, very enjoyable. Welcome back and congrats on your degree.
