Description
This is the first iteration of the RimWorlds of Ultima faction: Britannia based on the Ultima series by Richard Garriott aka Lord British. It is the start of what I hope to be a long line of themed mods.

As the early Ultimas ripped.. I mean borrowed heavily from Tolkien and other sources, so then will I. (Though hopefully not without permissions as appropriate). As such, Britannia is a unique medieval style faction harkening back to the days of old Sosaria when elves, dwarves and bobb.. err I mean hobbits lived among the race of men. (Ultima calls them bobbits but we all know they're hobbits so I'm just going to call them hobbits for those unfamiliar with the Ultima series).

You may recognize the races from Jecrell's LoTR mods. I'd like to thank Jecrell for including permission with those mods to use the content however we see fit.

Disclaimer: I do not by any means consider this a 'finished' mod by I reserve the right not to make promises as what is coming and when. That said, I have a lot of plans. :)

Dwarves no longer have forced beards in 1.3 as it would conflict with the new beards.

Guards don't have a ranged weapon option yet but are now supported by bards and rangers.

Interesting. Ideology is a good guess but Britannia's is fixed and a reloading wouldn't make a difference. I'm not sure how a bug in the XML would cause such a thing, never mind why reloading would fix it. Will keep an eye out for any more occurrences. Something to do with the latest update maybe?

Have a weird bug where Britannia raiders spawn naked and hairless, like that one scene with Danny Devito in Always Sunny. I can fix it by just reloading the save, it's most likely a conflict in my massive modlist, and I don't feel like putting in the effort to find out which mod is conflicting since it isn't game breaking. But figured I'd share it anyway cause it was kinda funny.

meh, faction leader still isn't spawning in current release. I've got it working now so will be fixed next update.

:D Yes I do plan to do gargoyles eventually. As well as goblins and Gwani. But first I'm working on an Armoury mod, the culture update for Britannia and a few other odds and ends. I haven't decided on the next mod after I'm done with all that. So many ideas, so many possibilities. :)

I mentioned this for the core mod but figured I'd do so hear as well. Elves and dwarves need some work for 1.3. Also, the 1.3 update for the core mod will remove JecsTools as a hard requirement at the cost of racial bonuses. I will be looking for alternative means to apply those (or similiar) bonuses at some point. Reason being JecsTools will be unlikely to receive updates beyond 1.3.
