Description
[Vanilla|Creative]

Space Engineers clearly is missing a few more armor block variants. Sure, there are a lot of great mods for that. But what if I told you that you can get them in vanilla without any mods?

This is a blueprint of four vanilla armor blocks, they are merely artificially deformed to look like this.
You can just copy paste it in from your blueprints. Since deformation is kinda weird, you should definitely do that last, because if you place blocks next to it, the deformation will go away.

This block is actually four times the Light Armor Slope Base, has full integrity and all the stats from these blocks, they're just a bit deformed.

You can split it up and use the parts separately if you want to.

The blocks are airtight everywhere you would expect them to be airtight.

Now also with 3 block long variant

It's a shame there are no normal blocks with a slope this shallow.

How do you read the bone position and offset and how do you know what values to give them to get the desired outcome?

for the armour tyes, these should also go in a collection called "Major Jon's Artificial Armour"

Also, using the collection feature, it would be in the exploits, and these would be in both.

wow cool

By editing the blueprint file. There's a whole passage called <sceleton> where all the deformation is saved.

How do you artificially deform blocks?

I don't know if I understand what you mean. This is actually 4 blocks, first going from zero to 1/4 height, next from there to 1/2 height and so on. Technically it might be possible to just stretch the 2 blocks to double the length and get the same result, but I'm pretty sure the deformation would go away as soon as you place anything near it. Might be worth a try, still.

Looks good.

Have you considered making an collection of blocks which would basically be the 2x1x1 block set, but stretched to double length?

this is most helpful c:

assuming you are already on it, with the heavy armour versions?
