Welcome to Randomized Alchemy!
This mod generates random alchemy recipes every time you start a new run, meaning all applicable materials including modded materials can react with something else to create another material!

Features of this mod:
  • A ingame config menu, to open the config press the "Mod Configs" button at the top right of the screen and open the Randomized Alchemy tab.
  • Random alchemy recipes, by default for each applicable material there are 5 reactions to create it.
  • All materials are blacklistable through the config menu!
  • There is a list of reactions in the config menu, this list can be filtered by checking materials in the Recipe Filter tab.
  • Toggleable list of reactions printed to the game's logger, this requires a mod to enable the logger. This option will cause the mod to print the entire reactions list out to logger.txt which is in your noita folder.

Config Options:
  • Lite mode - Some materials are blacklisted, only 1 reaction to create every material.
  • Chaos mode - 20 ways to create every material, stuff might get crazy.
  • Force 3 Inputs - Reactions always have 3 input materials.
  • Force 2 Inputs - Reactions always have 2 input materials.
  • Alchemical Inputs - Allow only magical liquids as alchemy inputs.
  • Alchemical Outputs - Allow only magical liquids as alchemy outputs.
  • Alchemy With Gasses - Will allow for gasses to also react for more chaos.
  • Allow solids as inputs - Allow solids as inputs for reactions.
  • Allow solids as outputs - Allow solids to be created from reactions.
  • Use whitelist instead of blacklist - Instead of not using checked materials only checked materials will be used.
  • Localize recipe names - Makes it so that the recipes list shows the ingame material name.
  • Reaction count - Determines how many reactions get generated to make each material.
  • Minimum reaction probability - The minimum probability of the materials to react, increasing the probability will cause materials to react faster.
  • Maximum reaction probability - The maximum probability of the materials to react.

Mod combo recommendations:
  • Fluid Dynamics - Adds more gasses and reactions to the game.
  • Arcane Alchemy - Adds more potions to the game.
  • Material Randomizer - Every material is randomized, enable this together with Randomized Alchemy for total chaos!
  • Potent Potions - Adds a insane amount of new potions made from modifier spells.

Identify mods also doesn't work with uwu speak, if you need another reason to get rid of it.

Not posting asking for a fix (mod compatibility fixes have gotta suck), just commenting for any others having this issue.

This mod seems to fail to generate under very obscure circumstances. After a bunch of tests, I'm able to fully generate it with 15 recipes per material, and with identify mods disabled. Also try reorganizing the position of this, config lib, and chemical curiosities if you have it.
OP could you add a button or slider that limits the total amount of alchemical reactions? I love the idea of the mod. But I don't like that the amount of random alchemical recipes created is proportional to the allowed output materials. It adds too many reactions. I would love if I could start each map with ~5 new, random alchemical reactions, it would be more surprising to encounter one, this way.
I could probably make it myself somehow, in a localized copy of the mod... but I feel like this might be a feature others could enjoy, as well.

for some reason with this mod corrupted rock is sometimes created even if solid outputs are disabled

fixed, thank you! also the issue was caused by something else after all, cuz i put the config lib higher than the mod and it crashed for some reason

You can delete all mod settings in the save folder in user\AppData\LocalLow\Nolla_Games_Noita\save00

been too silly, set some value to max, now game crashes when starting new game with this mod active, is there way to reset its settings? reinstalling doewsnt hewlp

Do you have the config lib mod installed and enabled, above this? You have to press the cog button on the top right while in game.
