Screw Slaves!

Description
F*cking Salves!
Screw them.
Who needs them anyways?

On the other hand side, they help my economy, don't they?

So let's enslave a few captitives, loot some cities trolololo
WHAT ALREADY 80% SLAVE POPULATION?

And now I have slaves rebelling all over my empire, and also other rebels think, they can now rise up.
Since I don't want to have my empire destroyed, I created this mod.

Unfortunately you cannot decrease slavery normally.

But this mod reduces the slave population in all your provinces.

I actually cannot tell you esactly how much it reduces slavery, but it's about 50% reduction every turn.
Oh and it only affects province capitals. So it won't work in a province, in which you don't control the capital city. (this seemed the best solution for me, theoretically I could aply it to every building.)
Your capital will now show a new effect: "Decreases Slave Decline", which is not true, it increases the Slave decline.
Just ignore it.

It works for every culture, and for every level of the capital. Since it is new information added, it works with every other mod. But I don't know about patch 8.1

So this mod is for everyone having troubles with too much slaves.
This is not intended to be active permamently, but to be activated for a few turns, and then be toggled off again as soon as slavery reaches a normal level.

Well that's enough said.

hey man ^^
so yeah, it should still work, however it was intended more as a simple hotfix back then, when slavery could destroy your empire and you couldn't do anything about it. I think nowadays there are more sophisticated mods out there to tackle the problem, for example "Sell your slaves" which allows you to better control slave population in individual provinces, instead of just hammering it down everywhere.
happy campaigning :)

mod work or dated?

nice one vandal. I find that a slave population of about 30% gives me good economic boost but doesn't cause constant rebelions. I loot some of the capitals I capture and the wait a turn or two for slave pop to go down before i loot again. but if I could sell some slaves... I cant imagine why anyone would want a slave market as theyt work in vanila

@willy thats actually a good point. When I created this mod it was not planned as a fine control instrument, but as a drastic measure to bring that stuff back to 0 when slaves became too overwhelming.
I will work on it, as soon as my laptop works again, it's broken and i'm writing this from a friends ;)
thanks for the input
cheers

I wonde rif you would knmow ho0pw to make the salve market building "reduce slve populaion" instead of reduce slave population decline" Not by half but just a little bit. That would give us finer control over slave popualtion.

I'm suprised that somebody here is actually complaning about this mod being fascist or racist. I think its a good idea. I never capture slaves but still seem to get them. Thanks for the mod!

Welcome something like this mod. I am so f***ing sick of slave rebellions and the stupid monotonous defense battles they force me to fight (when it's clear that my city walls would hold but the Auto Resolve doesn't think so). Horrible CA game design...
