PerkPointLessSmithing DG

PerkPointLess Smithing makes great changes to the smithing skill. You can no longer spend perk points in the smithing tree, you rather need to get your knowledge from various books added by this mod. While the books for the common kinds of armor (like Steel or Leather) are sold by many blacksmiths, more complex armor and weapon styles (like Dwarven or Ebony) are more difficult to find. Nearly all improvable items are now covered by a perk to give an improvement bonus (at the grindstone or workbench), and some items that were not craftable in the vanilla game can now be made once you know the proper perks. Perks can be learned even if the smithing skill is lower than the vanilla requirement, however, some perks require you to know a prevous perk. Most perk book apearances are leveled, so don't expect to run arround in a glass armor at level 1.

Detailed Information to material styles, alphabetical order (used vanilla perk in brackets):

Dawnguard: You may craft the Dawnguard armors if you have sided with the Dawnguard during Bloodline. The Steel Smithing and Leather Smithing perks are required for both the light and the heavy variant.

Vampire Armor: Vampire Armor can be craftet with the Dawnguard Add-On after completing "Bloodline" on Vampire side if you have the Leather Smithing Perk.

[COMPATIBILITY & CONFLICTS]

This mod may conflict with mods thad alter certain armors or weapons, crafting reciepes, smithing perks, boss chests or leveled lists.
