Foreword Regarding DLC: The DLC blocks are Non-Structural, it’s 6 Transparent LCD’s in the cabin, and some clean/silver paint. It will still work as intended if you do not own DLC.

Introducing, The Abstraction
Originally proto-typed during the Titan colonisation effort of 2098, the original Abstraction was scrapped due to colonists complaining about the hard to access cabin, and lack of utility.
However, in 2104 during the lead up to the Triton colonisation effort the Abstraction was revisited and improved in every aspect - it can now fly in and out of atmospheres with ease, ladders extend from the cabin to ensure a jetpack is not required for access, connectors have been relocated to allow for increased compatibility with most trade stations and the cabin has been redesigned for increased crew comfort. It’s also now casters to the style-conscious colonist with it’s new hull design.


Actual Info

There is a readme included on board for general information, usage, and how the toolbar is set up.

The Abstraction is almost too fast for a trader/hauler ship and handles extremely well on planets, as well as in space, and on moons. Power is nearly a non-issue, and for when it does become an issue there’s some backup H2 engines for you. The connector is placed on the underside of the ship to make interactions with NPC trade stations much easier, and after using it for a bit during testing, I think undermounted connectors are the way to go, personally. If you’re landing on rough terrain then extending landing gear have been provided so that you don’t damage the ship, and it also has parachutes incase you get a little too excited to make that delivery to the Alien Planet. It’s got a very good amount of cargo space, a Large container and a multitude of medium containers. The transparent LCD’s provide an excellent HUD, and I personally have flown, and landed The Abstraction with the actual HUD turned totally off, quite a lot.
