NS Livery Pack

Beskrivning
This route is a rail network modelled on the Dutch Province of Friesland (Frisia) as it was in 1965 with a dense timetable featuring 4 or more services per hour on each line. I wanted to create a network with authentic station layouts, realistic distances, curves and enough traffic to let it come alive.

There are 3 lines to explore with 23 stations and a total length of 152 km or 94 miles (and far more track). Two lines are single track and both terminate at a harbour city with connecting ferries. The 3rd line is double track and offers direct connections to major Dutch cities, such as Amsterdam and The Hague.

  • Water and improved signalling (utilising maintenance update features)
  • Dutch Railways (NS) style liveries: subscribe to 'NS Livery Pack' collection and select the 'NS Livery Timetable'.

Tips:
- Set the drawing distance > 150% (under graphic options). This helps with the open landscape.
- I've marked a handful of interesting services with an asterisk, just to get you started.

Notes:
- The entire route has been converted to left hand drive.
- While created close to the actual network, some freight-only tracks / sidings are missing.
- The mainline was electrified in 1952 but this is not modelled.

Mavrodi, thank you and yes, there's an update in the works to bring the route quality up with what's possible with the DRS graphics update. However it's only 50% ready and it will have to wait until after the Taff Vale route has been released.

Nice route! With Dutch livery pack it looks much better :) Will there be any updates or extensions?

It's a bit of an experiment - but let me know what you think of the Frisia route with the new 'Dutch' livery pack & timetable.

Hi Reuhaul. It's just a long wait until about 5:59 when the class 127 on track 2 has left. Use the time compression (page up) to get through the ~9 minute wait for the lines to clear to cross over to the other side of the yard.

Hi 44TZL, sorry to say but i have found another timetable issue, i was playing service SH544 Meppel Yard Work with the "class 03", it starts from the siding goes forward into the head-shunt then reverses through the station and waits on one of the loop tracks, then a message from the signaller comes up "waiting for ZG551 to clear the line", this train "class 37" comes in onto the same line as the "class 03" and they just sit there facing each other, i tried it in Drive mode and Watch mode and the same thing happened both times.
