More Merchant Republics

A historical mod. Unlocks the republics of Ancona, Ragusa, and Amalfi for appropriate bookmarks. Also makes the Maritime Republics independent; you can declare on Ancona without calling in the Holy Roman Empire.

• All Italian Maritime Republics now playable and independent. Trade post wars now viable.
  
  
• All IMRs have Kingdom titles, enabling de jure drift (like vanilla Genoa).
  
  
• Ancona: Active ~1000 - 1532. Confined to the city-state (not the duchy). Provides competition for Venice. New Greek Orthodox and Italian Catholic patricians.
  
  
• Amalfi: Extant until 1073. Restored patrician dynasties.
  
  
• Fixed vanilla bug: the county of Amalfi now has a de jure kingdom.
  
  
• Ragusa: ~936 - 1204. Byzantine tributary. Active in the Iron Century bookmark. Restored surviving patrician dynasty.
  
  
• De jure changes to aid historical direction.

Best for 1066 starts - though I did write histories for the entire base game setting.

There's an argument for Genoa's presence from 935, assuming a Fatimid raid destroyed records. Could push back founding for the Iron Century bookmark.

Visby (Gotland) has no 1066 competition, so no changes. Awkward in-game relationship with the later Lubeck (Hansa) founding. Better handled by a Hansa rework?

Gaeta was hereditary, more a feudal possession than a Maritime Republic.

Noli spent only a decade independent from Genoa; otherwise it was confederated. Independent Noli would just split one decent tag into two poor ones.
