I think there is no problem with the current version to play game. I'll patch the mod when it does not work properly.

This mod is already patched for 1.30.*. If this mod doesn't work in your version, please report it. I'll respond in at least 2 months.

Do you have any future plan on this mod?

I guess it is not a bad idea to add some mechanics for Chinese city states in Southeast Asia like Lanfang Republic or some other Chinese Company Republics (Kongsi republic). They were very interesting states in real history. It seems like something between a brotherhood, a maritime republic, and a colonial company.
