Put these console command before starting the server:
mp_warmup_time 1800
mp_teamplay 1 (team deathmatch)
mp_teams_unbalance_limit 0 (all players can be on the same team)

1: Add -oldgameui to the launch commands to create the server
2: Start the server from the main menu, with team deathmatch enabled and join the same team
2#: (Alternative method) With the console you can do this: first put maxplayers 32 , then the console commands above and finally map bmc_start
3: To connect, press search server on the main menu or use the developer console:
connect X:27015 (X=public ip of the server that the host can view at www.whatismyip.com website)

#: (If your friends cant join) Search how to open ports on your router/modem because you will need to open this port: 27015
and put sv_lan 0 in "Black Mesa\bms\cfg\listenserver.cfg" (open it with any text editor)
  - If listenserver.cfg doesn't exist just create it, or download it here [drive.google.com]

#: If you dont want to portforward you can try using hamachi, zerotier one or radmin vpn

Known issues:
* You can't pickup objects in multiplayer (needs server plugin )
* Flashlight doesn't work in multiplayer (needs server plugin )
* Players will T-Pose when they don't have weapons
* Random crashes
* Many bugs, these maps were created for singleplayer
* Never tested this with a dedicated server
