Unfortunately - most likely yes. Mods compiled under WOTC SKD are not backwards compatible with vanilla due to difference in logic. You still could try, but there's no guarantee what will happen.
But it seems that a lot of issues seem to be coming from WOTC having different logic, so MMS acts wonky in there. Debugg testing of my mod wasn't optimistic. Everything was just... Bad. Combat music refused to go away, sometimes it would bug out completely and oh dear lord the freezes. I've never experienced freezes that bad...
DId you used E3245's tutorial, by any chance? Have you experienced issues such as: hardcore freezes before music starts to play or combat music continuing playing even after last enemy is dead?
