Description
Do you want more variety in your selection of gravity-defying spheres? Look no further than this mod, which adds two new kinds: large and powered!

Beware, delver! Large spheres of negative weight are highly unstable and may explode! And beware of the sky, which turns into a deadly drop if you're carrying too much negative weight!

This version of this mod was tested with Caves of Qud version 1.0.4.

Mod is pretty broken with current release, I tried tinkering up a large sphere of negative weight and it created a small sphere of large sphere of negative weight and it caused most of my tinker recipes to remove the 7 and 8 bits from all recipes and upon attempting to save corrupted my save file and crashed the game.

@alividlife: one possible pitfall is you might be adding the "Textures/" part to the places you refer to your images in object blueprints or wherever; that part is already assumed. i'll dm you on discord, i think it will be easier to troubleshoot there

@helado, a couple months later here, but I wanted to just chime in and say I have been using your mod(s) and enjoying them all quite a bit. This is a great mod and it works.

Slightly off topic question, but I felt cowardice at privately messaging/mailing.
What are the exact properties needed for Caves of Qud to recognize custom .png's? I have been having a difficult time including custom tiles/artwork for a few silly mods I have made. Applications I have tried; Piskel, GIMP2, Paint.net , paint-- in order to export simple 16x24 pixel .png files observing the alpha channel, but no matter, Caves of Qud won't recognize my pngs. I have tried multiple pathings, from inside the mod (mymod_textures\items), to right clicking and "Copy as Path"-ing the tile location, to trying to path the png by placing it within "Caves of Qud\CoQ_Data\Textures\Items" But nothing, unrecognized.
What programs have you had success with? Is there any information you could provide?

i wasn't able to confirm a bug with that. however, that observation would be consistent with them not having power. things that can prevent them from powering on include, among other things:
- being broken
- emp
- normality field
- ontological anchor
- in the case of a powered sphere, having no energy cell or an exhausted one

I couldn't get this to work. Inherently the mod loads and "works" but the spheres weigh 100# for the large and 25# for the powered small orbs... .sooo they essentially do the opposite of antiweight. They are weight orbs.

It seems i can't use psychometry on the 2 spheres.
I tested Reverse Engineer too and it doesn't work either.

when i updated this in april, i accidentally left in a file that steam does not know how to download correctly. this is fixed now

qud moved one of the methods this mod was using, causing it to break. it is now unbroken, and has also received some minor tweaks
