[WotC]Warden Class for LWP

Description
Warden Class for WOTC Long War Perk Pack
Wardens are psionically gifted scouts. However they have not received a traditional training in psionics and the way they use it differ from what we've seen before. Instead of using a Psi-Amp to amplify their mind's power, they make their body act as a conduit for the dormant psionic energy around the battlefield, and they affect it in various ways as the energy passes through them.

[Changes]
The concept and performance of the existing Warden class was perfect, so I made minor adjustments. - Added brigadier rank and middle skill tree.

Weapons
-Primary weapon: Bullpup, vektor rifle, (Glaive by Glaive- Massive primary melee weapon)
(Autopistol by Primary Secondaries), (Sawed off shotgun by LW2 Primary Secondaries)

-Secondary weapon: Sword, Combat Knife, Ripjack

Increased the Warden's access to weapons for the purpose of providing players with various options for the Long War Perk Pack. If you like, you can equip your warden with a light gun to fit the psionic scout concept, or use them a very versatile Designated Marksman by equipping a vektor rifle.
... or just equipping Ripjack and Sawed off shotgun, then Rip and Tear Advent's guts!

Middle skill tree: Tide
The Tide skill tree focuses on enhancing their net combat efficiency and scout ability regardless of the Warden's stand. A Warden who mastered the Tide skill tree can take control of the highlands and defeat them with own firearms.

; corporal
Combat Fitness

; sergeant
Hunters Instinct

; lieutenant
Damn Good Ground

; captain
Barrage

; major
Executioner

; colonel
Squadsight

; brigadier
Death From Above

[Other changes]
A new skill has been added to Corporal rank's Ebb and Flow.- Combatives and Coup De Grace.
Originally, these two skills are acquired by Shinobi (LWP) relatively late. Do not miss this advantage.

Special Thanks
Pavonis Interactive for the creation of Long War Perk Pack.
Favidfor the [WOTC] LW2 Classes and Perks
Eramar for the Warden mod.
나인하르츠(naver cafe) and 엑컴2번역새끼(Dcinside) for Koran Translation

If there is a problem in this mode, or if one of the modders mentioned above complains - I am going to drop that mode directly from the Steam Library. To be honest, I had been thinking about uploading this mod for quite a long time. Considering the copyright issues between each other ....

Not out of the box. LWTOC changes a lot of the perk names compared to LW Classes and Perks so you'd have to change them to match. You wouldn't be able to get pistol perks or XCOM row perks.

In addition, laste I heard someone's working on a better patch specifically for LWOTC, if you haven't already I suggest tracking down the LWOTC discord

Will this work with Long War of the Chosen?

Though ghat said the disabling isn't set up correctly. Here's the code you want in XComClassData.ini

[Warden X2SoldierClassTemplate]
-NumInForcedDeck=1
+NumInForcedDeck=0
-NumInDeck=4
+NumInDeck=0

For reference, you did corectly add in the declaration to not include the class in promotion/GTS, but you forgot to remove the old declaration. Yes, the fact that you need to remove the old one is stupid, no you can't do anything about it.

@MrMister I just checked and yes this mod does disable the stock Warden (In XComClassData.ini it sets the numindeck and numinforceddeck to 0, disabling them from promoting naturally and stopping them from appearing in GTS/CC

@MrMister
I haven't properly looked at the code yet, but look at the relative sizes. This mod is almost 1/12 the size of the Warden Class. It's probably not much more than some INI tweaks and there's certainly no room for the complex FX used by the class. It probably disables the vanilla Warden and if it doesn't, Disable Any Class is a wonderful thing. If it doesn't and you really don't want to use DAC, the RPGO tutorial has a great big on disabling classes.

I've always liked the Warden, but I really don't want to use the LW Classes. Will this work with Deadput's LW 2 Perk Pack https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1790938526&searchtext=LW+2+perk instead?

From your answer to duanelocsin, it sounds like this mod is to be used INSTEAD OF the non-LWP Warden Class mod, not ON TOP OF it, right?

If so, you should probable remove the non-LWP Warden Class mod as a required item.

Awesome, thanks. So far I havent had any issues in the game either, so thank you for clearing that up

Systematically, this mode adds an 'LWP Warden' class - independent of the original Warden class.(prevent conflicts between classes.)

As far as I know, the top of the two warden classes is the LWP Warden you're looking for (sorted alphabetically, L vs w)

Hey, quick question. When I load up my game with the mod enabled (and all required mods) and I go to the character pool screen to make characters, I get two Warden classes that come up to select. Is this only a bug in the character pool screen or will it impact the game? Im assuming theres two options because of the original WOTC Warden pack and this one, but I'm not sure. I dont want to start a run of the game and have it crash because it picks the incorrect class during rank up
