Description
This mod restores the old Early Access Commando Rifle sounds which I personally liked better because of how different they sounded from each other. The current ones sound more like guns, but also sound kinda similar to each other.

Absolutely wonderful mod, both this and the 9mm sidearm one. Guns are supposed to sound like guns, not like toys. :MrFoster:

I always thought the sounds kind of got worse or are bad now and this explains everything. Just why tripwire lol.

Thanks

So I did remember right. I was just looking for whatever gun makes the bullpup sound that I loved and of course it was early acces sounds. Same crap like the 9mm Beretta.
Why did they do this?! I thought their goal was to make 'em sound like real guns.
No, the new ones don't sound "more like guns", they sound more like what gamers have been tricked into thinking guns sound like. The old ones sound more like guns. The concussive blast and the reverb sound much more like the inhumanely loud thing that guns are.

Thank you for this, and I hope AK12 have a new sound.

NEW SCAR: Video Game Gun
Old Scar: ACTUAL Machine Gun

Thank you for this. After they changed the Scar sounds I didn't enjoy commando as much anymore, now I'm having lots of fun as Commando again, thanks to you!

thank you anyway

thats sad. i know how that feels, it took so much times for a soundmod especial testing the 3p weapon sound
Bunslinger  [author] 21 Jun, 2020 @ 4:19am
unfortunately no, in making this soundpack and many others i would basically just make the whole thing and test it all in-game at once and write down everything that needed to be fixed

hey Bunslinger
do you know any method to test the soundmod quickly?
i made some sound mods but every test and adjust need to restart the game many times
