I really liked it and I would love to see it completed
So maybe the best way to find the middle ground is making the Feudal Age more Romanesque and North Portuguese based, while the Castle Age more "Lisbon-esque" based (Although the Castles themselves are pretty uniformely "Simple, Square and Stony" all over the country, those lookout towers in the Castle and Docks are characteristic of Early Modern bastions, not Medieval Castles).
"I saw a mod for franks in the steam workshop that looks more viking than french" Oh i know what mod you speak of, it made me cringe as well.
"I can't afford making a whole trip in all the countries of Portugal just for releasing a free set "
I'm perfectly aware of that and i tried to sound as least demanding as possible. Its understandable that someone from outside has very limited exposure. Even most portuguese people have no clue what medival Portugal was like, since we we have always neglected historical bookeeping and Arqueological conservation.
You're going a little bit too far with the term "add insult to injury"
Agree, i just didn't know any other "softer" expression to convey my point.
"I don't want to rush it and offend anyone." - Its cool my man, although i might sound angry or smth i really am happy at least someone is trying. I'm just giving my feedback.
"It's a simple copy paste of the middle eastern set"
"the shapes that Catbarf used for Italians are from the Middle East set in fact"
Yeah, i can tell. Thats why it looks so foreign.
"but in fact there is some in Lisbon" You can find anything in Lisbon if you look hard enough. But yes columns were commun in the Manueline (Portuguese late Gothic) and Barroque Style, but usually restricted to the balconies of large buildings or churches, not so much in regular housing.
