Description
With the Capital Class Controller Tower in London destroyed, McCauley, Ava, Smith and their allies can go to the Isle of Wight to take on Caliban and end The Tempest. The past, present and future will all be decided in a final fight that will bring the best and worst out of humanity. Their destiny and the fate of others will be made from decisions in their journey up to and including this final stage. Can McCauley take control of his own destiny or will he be tied to The Tempest forever…

Your play-through of Phases 1 – 11 will change how this map plays out. At the start of Phase 12 you will be asked 14 questions to set-up the lore and the bonuses/penalties based on your decisions. There are 25 custom variables, 90 scripted events and 20 different endings based on your choices. If you haven’t played any of the previous maps then there is a quick start option.

Difficulty: Brutal – This is the final and hardest map in the campaign. The objective is to simply take down Caliban, but infected come from his position as well as caves to the S, NE and E. They arrive constantly and in large waves from a different direction every 4 days. There is a final huge wave on day 80, after which you will still have to go take down Caliban. There are explosives you can use to close the caves but getting there is difficult. Also Caliban will adapt his attacks based on your strategy. If you play 500%+ in survival then please try Phase 12X which is much harder.

Hope you enjoy the finale to the 28 Years Later campaign :)

After finishing this awesome custom campaign I wanted to thank you for creating this. I was surprised and impressed by the quality of your maps and the underlying mechanics. Especially the last map... my actions did matter after all! Even voice-acting and custom music! Seriously apart from a few wall of texts with exposition this was not only well designed, but also well written and well balanced. I am no TAB-god but the difficulty ramped up nicely for me. I enjoyed exploring - you can feel the amount of work and love in every map! Great work, I'm looking forward to 29 years later!

Thank you greatly for a fantastic campaign, map making and story, again I say way better than what the main actors gave.

Been playing TAB for about a month now and just completed this yesterday (on the easier difficulty so will attempt the nightmare variant) and I'm in awe how much depth the story has in this campaign! 1000x better than the original campaign!

One thing I want to know: What's the soundtrack used when you're near Caliban's base when he starts sending large swarms every 4 days? I love the heroic feeling of it, so near to the objective and Caliban's sending he's got to push back.

@ilWiaderko - the sniper blueprint is found simply by asking about it in the custom menu where Alonso gives you a reminder on what is left to find. Garson can be saved in Map 7 in a couple of different ways. The easiest way is to find a secret hiding area for him :)

@POBmaestro - regarding sniper; it is possible i missed something obvious next to command center. I guess I did send the ranger party in that direction but not sure if they reached stone circle. As for Garson I find it cheating if you can reply you saved him, cause in the gameplay of map 7 there was no way to save the guy.

Still, I believe game devs could learn a lot from your innovative ideas on playthrough :)

@ilWiaderko - glad you found the story entertaining! Yes I agree the map design isn't my greatest strength but I do everything I can with the limited time and resources that I have. I think I have too much OCD when it comes to making everything look just so which can make it look unnatural.

The sniper blueprint amusingly enough is back at the Command Center...if you select the Sniper blueprints from the Custom Menu you find them tucked away immediately! Garson depends on your initial answers...if you selected that you didn't save him in map 7 then he is killed off at the start of the map. I just did a quick test and he wasn't killed at the start when I said I'd saved him.

Anyway thanks for the feedback and hopefully you'll find the sequel even better :)

Same here, just finished the story - very entertaining! In some maps, especially those early square sections seemed a little unnatural in terms of design of a map.Other than that, fancy dialogues, funny names, story that can defend itself - all well done!
On the final map I have missed the sniper blueprint, dunno where to look for that, and I run around pretty much everywhere. Maybe because I did research event broke...
I don't understand one thing - how it was possible to save Garson since the attack of 50 harpies or what literally decimated entire base seconds after the game has started, and you couldn't control him.

Can't wait for the sequel! Congratulations to you and everyone involved in development and support during that time :)
