There have been incidents of addon conflicts. Some subscribers reported that the BlackHUD menu does not work properly. It turns out that installing multiple HUD addons is the main cause for these issuses. Please only install one HUD addon, since all HUD addons use the same functions and scripts to retrieve information about the player.

I will try to contact the developers of the conflicting addons to work out a fix for these issues but for now the only option to keep BlackHUD working is to avoid installing it in combination with conflicting addons.

It has imperial, metric, UNIX time and "Source Units" speed indication.


This way only host players and dedicated server need to subscribe BlackHUD or add it to the collection. Client players don't have to subscribe it to see everything and if they don't like this HUD they can disable it for themselves.

You can toggle BlackHUD on and off and select your preferred time and speed measurement type inside the Spawnmenu under "Utilites" and then "BlackHUD".

The HUD color, provided you haven't custom color enabled, and the rank name on the HUD, provided you haven't disabled team/rank display, depends on the team you are in. BlackHUD supports ULX Ranks and every other administration addon that uses the Garry's Mod Team-System to create and manage ranks and their colors.

• Weapon name, clip, ammo and secondary ammo if applicable
  
• Your speed (indicated in your preferred format)
  
• Your ping (connection latency) on the server in milliseconds
  
• A small compass with the cardinal points and bearing you're looking at.

• Toggling the entire HUD on and off
  
• Toggling the time and date display on and off
  
• Toggling the rank/team name display in your HUD
  
• Toggling the weapon and ammunition display position
  
• Toggling between rank/team color and custom color
  
• Colorization menu for custom HUD color
  
• Time display format: american, asian, european, UNIX
  
• Speed display unit: imperial, metric and "source units" per second
