@m.se This is the First National; Stars and Bars is indeed what it was nicknamed, The Bonnie Blue was never an "official" CS flag, to my knowledge. The Stars and Bars were replaced by the Stainless Banner (gotten rid of because the white field looked too much like a surrender flag) and then the Bloodstained Banner - the Third National.

The iconic Battle Flag (specifically of the Army of Northern Virginia; other armies used different variants of the design) came into use alongside the First National because the latter was too easily mistaken for a US flag.

Please ignore that \/ I was wrong... mostly? The flag you have here is not the Confederate battle flag (as I wrongly suggested) but one of the national flags of the confederacy. After disposing of their first flag, which was deemed "too blue", the confederacy used the flag you have here, of which I have forgotten the name. They didn't use it the whole war, and not at the end so I guess I was kinda right?

Not the actual confederate flag lmao. The actual flag at the end of the war was the "Blood-Stained Banner". The one you have there is the flag of the confederate army.
