Runner Gen

Description
A quick mod letting you make a new runner with 100k nuyen and a karma vending machine. When you are done making your runner just activate the computer in the center to save.

is there a chance you can put this on nexus mods i have a non steam version of dragonsfall director and hongkong i would love to use this mod but cant download them on steam. i do have steam version of ruturns which i am happy to use this mod for it xD.

If that's a mod or UGC then no. I want Runner Gen characters to be compatible with as much as possible. Adding mods to Runner Gen would most likely make characters dependant on those mods and prevent them from working with UGCs that don't have those mods.

I noticed something when using this recently... If you import a character made with Runner Gen into the Dragonfall campaign (there is a version you can download that allows for this), anything not equipped by your character will not be available in that campaign. That means you will not be able to use the gear in your stash. That also means that any programs you buy in Runner Gen will not be available since they are automatically un-equipped every time you jack out of the matrix. So it would seem that buying programs in Runner Gen is pretty much pointless :(

@ Toadbat...those sound like good ideas. I will be adding Dragonfall stuff, but in a separate version so as not to alienate people who don't have it. I'm pretty busy lately, so it may take some time. As for the shaman totems, I think that by making the mod dependant on Dragonfall resources that those will be added automatically. We'll see.

First off, thank you very much for putting this together. I mainly use it to get my equipment set more appropriate for custom builds.
I was wondering if you could take a couple of shameless reqests :)
Firstly, if you could put a dialogue in for the Karma vending machine that would let us pick various amounts of Karma. Like 1, 5, 10, 50 or something. Second, if you can incorperate more portraits and gear, especially Dragonborn ones. And lastly, can you add the expanded Shaman totems from Dragonborn? Just some suggestions, and thanks again for this mod, it makes me happy :)

The decker programs don't work because you can't load them into your deck until you enter the matrix. I will fix that soon. Also, I will be adding a separate Dragonfall version after that.

May want to update your mod for Dragonfall as well. (new items, etc.)
Used thsi mod to import a saved character from here, into the Dragonfall game. Everythign worked, save for the decker programmes.
