Description
A bit surprised I haven't seen anyone do this yet. This simple edit lowers the number of monsters that spawn on planets to 50% their normal rate. Slightly less for night creatures. Because there's challenging, and then there's "spam everywhere" annoying.

why did the starbound devs make monsters spawn so much??? early game feels impossible to do without being jumped by every creature under the sun, this mod will be helpfull :steamhappy:

does this work with underground creatures? because i would like some of them spawning even more, when you need a cryothing for crafting refrigerators i feel like they never spawn.

@Enderlord If you want true pain of a game, search 'mobageddon' or '3x mob spawn' on the Workshop. There's a mod for it.

Can't imagine a x2 working well, unless there's something like "50 monsters spawn every 4 seconds offscreen" or something.

I like the idea, although sometimes I would like a x1,5 or x2 as well. For some hellholes.
