'Vietnam, Man. Bomb 'em and feed 'em, bomb 'em and feed 'em'

Napalm Star is a five phase, seven objective territories map focused on a region inside the 'Happy Valley' zone southwest of Da Nang in Central Vietnam.

Map is a work in progress. There are known bugs and needed design improvements but please feel free to leave bug reports and/or constructive feedback in the comments.

Put this map on server. Checked and dubble checked and didn't miss a part of code. It was visible on admin map cycle, and suddenly vanished as also ripcord did while all data are still in game cache. Any idea?

Not sure what is going on, but when trying to load this specific map I get a CTD with a bugsplat message. It's only on this map, and have never experienced this before on any other map, server or what have you.

This is the best custom map I have played so far. Perfect balance of open range and cover and it looks stunning with the amount of detail it has.

I agree with HISlawyer. I must say I'm impressed by the objectives themselves. When I did get to them they were a bunch of fun to fight over and to look at as a fellow mapper and see all of the creativity in their design, but I think that getting to them from either side, especially B, C, D and E, is at best very difficult and at worst hopeless. You don't have to go crazy with the cover, of course, but as things are there's so little cover and so little terrain variation to make up for it that getting past B/C is unlikely and past D/E near impossible. I think that as things are, though, you've got an alright map, and if you tweak it to be less infuriating it could be one of the best maps out there.

My playtime on the map revealed that the B, C, D, and E objectives are pretty hard to reach, both for attackers AND defenders. the A objective is particularly fun, but once you start fighting in the rice fields it kinda starts to feel like Cu Chi. I think more cover (crashed planes/helos, trees, flooded craters) would help make those objectives more interesting, and a little easier to reach for both teams.

A really nice looking map though! There's a lot of potential here if you keep tweaking and working at it.
