True biomass powerplant has come to Kenshi. This mod introduces two new exterior building: Biomass Power Plant, and Biomass Biochar Reactor. Unlock Biomass Powerplant research after Heavy Generator Theory (Generator II). Cost 2 ancient science book to research.

- Biomass Power Plant: Turns dry wheatstraws into power in one process with our biomass power plant. Just add the wheatstraws into the reactor and top up the boiler water regularly and you are good to go. It produces 300 power when fully upgraded, run ~44% more 'wheat efficient' than generator II. However,it is twice as large. You cannot place it in or on buildings. It takes only wheatstraws so no cactus or greenfruit. And it consumes more water at ~25% more water per net energy. Upgrade the Biomass Power Plant with "Amplified Generators" for 15kW each, then High Efficiency Boiler & Steam Turbine for 10kW each step.

- Biomass Biochar Reactor: Turns dry wheatstraws into biochar(carbon). Really the only realistic(?) source of carbon other than mining. (Which... where are the carbon mines anyway?) It is a biomass reactor optimized for biochar production rather than power, but it still produce enough power to feed itself. For efficiency, it turns 3 wheatstraws and 0.3 water into 1 carbon in 2 hours. Not a profitable machine. But, carbon is so much smaller and lighter and it has its uses with other mods.
