Historical Objectives for Rome - DEI

Opis
Historical Objectives for Rome - Rebuild the Empire the way it was historically created (or as close as we can get in Total War)!

This submod for Divide et Impera changes the main and secondary chapter objectives for the Rome faction to as accurately as possible reflect the expansion of Rome from the Samnite Wars in the 270s BC all the way through the Kitos War of 117AD. Instead of main objectives requiring things like certain numbers of units, controlling arbitrary numbers of provinces, or the like, you are now tasked with conquering regions and provinces grouped by time periods in order to advance the chapters. Most main objectives are a compilation of what you need to do for secondary objectives, so you'll always be working on both at the same time and they go hand in hand!

All work is based on Chapter Objectives (Historically Accurate) by SCVTVM on the Steam Workshop and used with permission to bring it over to DEI.

Save-game compatible (Thanks for confirming this SCVTVM). The new objectives will show up AFTER you complete your current chapter objective.

Mod load order - be sure this mod loads with higher priority than DEI and any other mods/submods that may have changes to the missions tables.

TWCenter Forum Thread here (with a list of all new objectives):

Known issues:
- Many of the region names for the objectives may not match with what is shown as the settlement names. This is due to the local string names for regions not being the same as the startpos settlement names in DEI.

@naifu that is outside the scope of this mod
Naifu 14 maja 2024 o 11:54
can you please also adjust reform dates to be historically accurate??
Takarazuka  [autor] 14 marca 2024 o 18:09
@Leondas sorry but that is not something I have the time to really do. There is also the issue with finding enough historical expansion or events happening for most major factions in DEI other than a few like Pontus, Parthia, and maybe Egypt (barely). Most of the factions in this time period were doing small border conflicts or just trying not to get swallowed up by Rome.

Hello Takarazuka can you make more of this mods for other factions!
Thanks!!

Ah alright thank you for the response

No, I won't be making one for vanilla, but it's pretty easy to modify and do this.

Would it be possible for this to be for vanilla aswell?

Wondeful mod! an absolute must have for a rome playthrough.
May I ask for a version with 5.000 for each objective or something more substantial to go alongside the mods that increases costs like the popular 12tpy mods etc.

Minor update to account for other faction chapter objectives that were updated in 1.3.2 that I missed. These have nothing to do with the Roman faction, but need to be updated regardless.
