Old Slow Coach

In the episode 'Thomas, Percy and Old Slow Coach', Thomas & Percy were making a run to the scrapyards, when they came across an old coach who was about to be scrapped. After a fire destroyed the workman's hut, Old Slow Coach was restored and used as a temporary hut for the workmen. The hut was rebuilt, and Old Slow Coach returned to the railway. She would appear only one more time - in the episode 'Happy Ever After', when Percy was looking for a 'good luck package' for Mrs Kindley's daughter's wedding. The good luck package was supposed to consist of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. This was the result of Percy's endeavours:

Something old - Old Slow Coach
Something new - a brand-new set of buffers
Something borrowed - the truck carrying the buffers
Something blue - Thomas

Old Slow Coach is based on a Falmouth Coupe TRI brake coach, built in 1893 for the Great Western Railway.

I highly recommend watching the episodes 'Thomas, Percy & Old Slow Coach' and 'Happy Ever After'. They are both from Season 5, which was filmed in around 1998. After typing the previous sentences, I proceeded to watch both episodes. They really are works of art!
