Description


ThereIsNoSpoon Mod Team presents you :

Frostmourne , the cursed runeblade of the Lich King

"Whomsoever takes up this blade shall wield power eternal. Just as the blade rends flesh, so must power scar the spirit."

Since we found other Frostmourne mods not working as intended , we take liberty on ourselves to make a good one

Frostmourne is intended to be a very late game overpowered weapon

Strengths



- 50 / 75 / 100 cold damage ( configurable )
- Dropping Frostmourne on the ground provides a small light source (can be turn off in config )
- Lifesteal 1 / 5 / 10 health per hit ( configurable )
- Infinite Durability

Weaknesses



- Attack speed is x0.8 times as fast as normal weapons , hits once when other weapons can hit twice
- Movement speed reduced to x0.8 , Frostmourne is a cold burden for your feet
- Sanity drain 0.1 / 0.5 / 1 / 5 per second when equip ( configurable )

due to being OP , Frostmourne's blueprint is hard for balance

Configurable Menu so you can adjust Damage / Lifesteal / Durability / Light to your liking


Possible Updates :

Cold temperature from holding Frostmourne and being near Frostmourne
Blueprint only obtainable from boss drop
Raising skeletons ?
Removal of infinite durability and refuelable by Nightmare Fuel

I have a question: Is it that Frostmourne Drains Sanity, because in Warcraft, The Lich King got mad with power and there for Lost His Mind?

Can you make attack and movement speed configurable?

Can you make the durability configurable too?

Raising lost survivor skeletons as a ghoul would be icying on the cake.

Maybe an ability to cast Death Coil on them to keep them alive longer. (Via right click with sword equipped on ghoul target) (Cost Health, Hunger , or Sanity (Configable).

Can update customization sword? from remove all sanity decreased and move speed normal using the sword? Working mod and the best frostmourne mods of comunity

So this sword is supposed to be doing 100 damage, but in my game its only doing 25 and yes i checked the config it is set to 100.

Seems cool af, yet the durability and attack can be pretty troiblesome to get balanced.
Maybe Friendly mobs all turn hostile to you, but you can get a small frozen skeleton of the victim [that dies pretty quickly] on kill.
Another feature could be, Instead of a regular death, a spirit either takes frostmure away/breaks or a spirit is summoned that is hostile to all entity un till you are revived or it killed [maybe an aoe to make it even more dangerous to lose on battle]
Sanity could be reduced to 0.4 but :
Cold : No longer loses sanity on day/night . Loses 1.8 on dusk
No longer needs clothes for the winter, but requires you to kill mobs or die of "hunger" if ya get the reference.
Movement reduced to 0.7x , so you are kinda forced to fight

I dunno, the ideas can be recycled or not neccesarily taken from here. I am sure others can be done, but great work! I am looking forward to test this one out
