I always wanted asteroids fields to be the perfect place to mine, so i decided to make this mod!

This mod adds Iron, Tungsten, Titanium and Durasteel ores to the asteroid fields.

This mod is compatible with other mods.

Should be safe to uninstall, but it won't revert already generated asteroid belts.

This is a god send. Combined with the mining gun mod and the resource extractor mod, this is an AMAZING mod for resource gathering.

in gentle stars you still have durasteel and titanium

Can find lots of silver, durasteel, and titanium, but not gold.

Draegon1993 Your mech mines both the foreground and background layer in one go (unless you have a mod that stops that) and the asteroids tend to have a lot of ores in the background layer that don't necessarily match the foreground layer ore, so you'll often get more than one ore type from a single mined block with your mech.

i have found that this alsohappens in the vanilla game, so it might be something else.
