Description
CV-010 Chimera APC

The Chimera is a 3rd generation heavy APC designed as a replacement for the CV-07 Raider line of IFVs. Developed from the CV[E]-003 prototype, the Chimera can carry a total of 4 people (3 passengers and 1 driver) straight into the heart of a battle and provide both light and heavy fire support with it’s 25mm Gatling gun and rocket pod.

The well-balanced wheel placement allows for a clean and stable turning circle, and gives the CV-010 impressive all-terrain ability. The vehicle commander has complete control over the crew compartment, including a Go/No-go light and alarm to signal when to dismount and charge!

The vehicle also features a streamlined control system for the two weapons systems, and you are able to switch control with the press of a button. The rocket pod is mounted on a piston to give it a high vantage point for firing.

Usage

To operate the turret, press 8 on hotbar 1 to toggle the travel lock (it is ON by default).

To control the rocket launcher, press 4 on hotbar 1 to deploy and assume control of the pod. Press C to fire. NB: you can only engage the travel lock whilst controlling the Gatling turret.

Use square brackets to cycle through the cameras.


Hotbar 1: Turret/Vehicle Controls
1: Left Indicator, 2 Gatling Gun, 3: Camera, 4: Switch Controls, 5: Lights, 6: Convoy Light, 7: Hatch, 8: Travel Lock, 9: Right Indicator.

Hotbar 2: Troop Compartment Controls
1: Rear Hatch Lock, 2: Open/Close Rear Hatch, 3: Troop Compartment Camera, 4: Troop Compartment Lights, 5: Ready/Go Signal, 9: Hostile Grid Detection On/Off.

NB: I have experienced a glitch in the MART script that causes the gatling gun to flip outside of it's rotation limits. if this occurs, drag the velocity slider to fully positive (+60 rpm). This will fix it.

If not, scripts might be disabled in world settings.

If you can't control the turret you will first need to turn off the travel lock (number 8). If the green light in the cockpit is off then you should be able to control the turret.
