P7 (Greece)
Allow Pompey to recruit legions in your cities. Win by killing Caesar and Antony and having Pompey control Rome, Or by killing Caesar and having P6 recapture Rome. Potential allies P1, P3, P5, P6

P8 (Parthian Empire)
Gain control of Teal's buildings and resources if both Antioch and Tarsus are razed/rebuilt. Receive new unit spawns at 30 minutes. Win by destroying Rome. Allies with nobody, have fun with that.

Introduction

This scenario revolves around two players, Red and Blue. There are two side conflicts, Green vs Yellow, and Teal vs Orange. These don't have to be 1v1's, in fact, it would be a whole lot more interesting if they weren't.

This scenario has seasons, essentially every TEN minutes the MOUNTAIN PASSES will either cease or start to DEAL DAMAGE one damage every two seconds, starting at FIVE MINUTES.

There are about ten relics hidden throughout the map, there is no relic victory, but only a fool passes up easy gold.

Priorities will shift as the game develops, Caesar's first priority will be to take Rome, Pompey's first priority will be to get out of Italy, everyone else's first priority will be their own security against their neighbors. (Except P6 and P7 who get to choose their priorities) Eventually, it will be in everyone's best interest to kill P8 (well...except P8, that is) as all they must do to win is raze the Senate Building in Rome, and once this is done everyone else will lose.

Different players have different population limits, so you may inevitably fall into a slightly lower role, just accept this and have fun not being the star player you petty loser.

Enjoy!

What's this gate bug? They seemed to work fine when I tried the scenario with some friends.

For some strange reason DE hates gates in scenarios made in HD. Even when they are replaced in the DE editor they are still broken. But we are looking for a fix for that and we'll also probably find a unit to swap out for the heavy swordsman.

Not at the moment. I'm still waiting for a better PC to play the definitive edition. Plus, I heard that DE is very buggy in terms of scenario editing so it will be a longer wait than anticipated. It's definitely not forgotten and I plan to convert it fully at some point while including new triggers from the DE itself. Thanks for bringing it up. I was wondering if anyone was playing this mod on the new version. Let me know if you find any other bugs.

Any progresss in converting this to Definitive?

I've noticed that the Definitive Edition breaks this scenario in some ways like removing the Heavy Swordsman unit from the game files.

Scenarios will be converted

I am aware of the definitive edition coming out soon. I hope that all of the maps from HD carry over to the new version instead of having to remake it from scratch. That would be agonizing.
