I'm even more surprised it's apparently still working somewhat. I guess that modcaller function I have no memory of is still doing its job.
I'd recommend just using the server option to adjust crafting costs instead of this old mod. And finding a mod to make thick leather, if any exist. Could also open the files in the editor and update the mod to the current game version to resolve any conflicts and further adjust what you want, but I'm not sure if we still have to download that insanely huge devkit.
Either way, I completely forgot how to make mods for this game. :)
