Description
Introducing my 6th Mod,

The Aivialus!
This bird-based faction has heavy use of Cannon Boosts, on both spinal and turreted cannons. As such, this faction can display incredible amounts of power, but the weaponry to do so is easily crippleable.
Otherwise, the faction has pretty high amounts of thrust, average armor values, 3 types of armor, 4 weapons with 5 variants of each(not including boosts!) 3 sizes of missiles, and arguable the most flashy thing, Laser Wings(almost purely cosmetic)!

Weaponry:
General Purpose Cannons: Cannons made for general situations. Comes in a spinal variant and 3 Turreted variants.
Spreadcannons: Close range shotguns. Comes in a spinal variant and 3 Turreted variants.
Gauss Cannons: Long range charging cannons. Comes in a spinal variant and 3 Turreted variants.
Autocannons: Rapid fire cannons, good for sustained DPS. Comes in a spinal variant and 3 Turreted variants.
GP Boost: General use cannon boost, buffs all stats a small bit.
Burst Boost: Increases damage at the cost of fire rate.
Velocity Boost: Increases range and velocity for more power consumption.
Stream Boost: Increases Fire rate at the cost of range.
Omega Boost: heavily buffs all stats for a LOT of power consumtion and P value.
Talon Missiles: Dual-launch missiles, comes in 3 sizes.
AM System: Basic PD system, acts as a flak shotgun.

Equipment:
Aivial Pertical Generator: generates a respectable amount of power.
Aivial Propulser: General use thruster.
Feather: Maneuver Thruster.
Nest: Factory.
Laser Wings: Almost purely cosmetic parts used for adding some added flair to your ships. Comes with a bit of torque and R Capacity. Comes in 5 Sizes.
Anzu Propulser: Thruster made for titan-scale ships.
Hypermass Torquer: Massive torquing device made for Titan-scale ships. comes with a short-ranged shield.

Mod's too old for me to wanna make major changes, but i'll keep your suggestions in mind.
i was aware of the issue with spinal and turreted boosts but i was too lazy to fix it, so i just acted as though it was intended and moved on.

This comment spam is how it COULD be fixed, i do in no way expect any changes, but just keep this in mind if wanting to make a balanced faction (In any game)

Also, reduce straight% buff on mods, To easy to stack to get critical levels of OP, increase non% buffs

Yeah
To balance, ( If wanted) Make the blocky engines, cheaper, and the mega engine MUCH cheaper,
OR reduce thrust of feathers

More energy cost for weapon buffs, (Damage mod adds no energy cost, Omega is only about 30%)
omega should be 70% or something high as heck
OR
Make weapon mods slightly lower/ less effective

(Somehow) make it so Spinal buffs cannot be on turreted cannons, That is a thing that is possible, and a cause of balance issues (Re shape cannons so they dont fit?)

Missiles are fine,
Armour is decent, but no shields are balanced by weaponary (Vaguely)

This faction stands as my one and only experiment into cannon boosts. i had a lot of fun, especially with designing and flaunting the Largest ship, Anzu, however it became very apparent that i Cannot Balance Cannon Boosts. as such i never have and probably never will make a faction around them again. i like to think some of my newer mods (especially the WIP ones) are somewhat better balanced, so at least i'm improving. if you wanna know what's up with that, join the discord, i post updates whenever i work on it.

Weaponry: 11/10 Stupid OP
Mobility: 7/10 Average
Armour/Shield: 2/10 Low. Still fails to balance the OP weapons

Overall, Fun and fast paced

Ever noticed that the damage boosters do not affect the ROF of the gauss (Charging) cannons?
Allows Nuke guns
