Scenic NPCs

Description
This is an interesting and different mod that I have done in a while.

I decided to make this mod because I got tired of having to always use the Easy Animation Tool and having to disable Thinking when I wanted a roleplay or cinematic scene going on with a few NPCs. Now you dont have to do that, at least not entirely.

NOTE: Some NPCs may require you to have the Half Life 2 Episodes mounted in order to have them in your spawn menu.
The reason for this is because of the NPC(s) using animations from the Episodes. If I added them without checking if you have the episodes they would be A-Posing and people would complain about them being broken.

DISCLAIMER:
Some of you have probably been having issues with the NPCs and the animations they are performing. Here is the straight answer, it is a MOD COMPATIBILITY ISSUE. It is a compatibility problem that does not cause any direct errors. Some mods that exist on the workshop change the animations the male or female models have one them which in turn breaks certain NPCs in this mod. The reason this is a disclaimer is because I CAN'T fix it nor can I tell you all the mods that do it because I don't even know all of them. I apologize if you run into this problem but I can't do anything about it to fix it.

Another thing that should be said. These NPCs do not work with Saves. The reason they do not work with saves is because how they are scripted to work. How it works is every time the map is initialized an entity spawns the NPC(s). When the map is saved and reloaded, the game saves the NPCs that were spawned but as well as the entity that spawns the NPCs. So it ends up spawning the NPCs again and the NPCs that were previously saved no longer become tied to the entity exactly which messes up the animation and duplicates the NPCs with ones that do the correct animation(s). I have been trying my hardest to get them to work with them properly but to not luck at the moment. So for now this will have to be dealt with.

This Mod Includes :

- 101 NPCs
- Spawn Icons
- A new Category
- NPC animations will not ever stop even when Thinking is turned on.

- Each NPC does an animation.
- Some NPCs are netural to Metrocops.
- Some NPCs make noises or talk.
- Some NPCs can be talked to by pressing E on them.
- Metrocop NPCs in this mod are netural to the player.

- Some animations are dyamic and respond to the person/persons ( people ) being hit or if they hear combat sounds.

Bugs :

Some NPCs will not show up or do an animation :
This is because of the following 2 reasons.
1. I know why this happens. There are mods on the workshop that redo the animation on the male and female models. This in return will not make them do the animation or not show up. Most of these animations are available normally when no mods are installed or enabled or when you don't have one of those mods installed and enabled.

2. An Addon Conflicting with this mod without notifying that it is conflicting.

Possible Fix for the Animation Errors :
Disable all your addons and then restart your game.

Other than that I can't really help you out on that. Sorry :\

Some NPCs :
- If they are spawned too close to the player when ai_disabled or (Thinking is turned on) they will not do the animation but instead with do their default idle position.

Walking Citizen with Ration :
- Occasionally acts weird when trying to start or stop walking.

Too bad there are no model changes for Npcs because I found a way to do it. The mode works in a way but we could have worked on this opportunity. And for those for whom it does not work look for other modes on the character animations. It can be useful.

TheOfficialUmbra no for some reason whenever you spawn a scenic npc close to you they sometimes get bugged and this isn't only for kneeling animations if you don't want the animations bugged just spawn the npcs a bit further
